One to Toss, One to Treasure

When my mom died, I started making bridal garters for my nieces and my daughter out of the lace on my mom’s slips. I did not want them to throw the ones I made from my mom’s lace, so I made a second one for the groom to toss. It occurred to me that it would be nice if the bride would have a garter to keep from her wedding day without losing the one to toss tradition!
